Travel

We know Penticton is quite a trek,
especially for those of you coming from outside Canada. If you can't join us, no worries at all—we totally get it. But if you're up for the adventure, just RSVP and we’ve made a little map below to help you find your way!

Location

1053 Poplar Grove Rd, Penticton,
BC V2A 8T6, Canada.

How to Get There

Coach

We’re looking at hiring a private coach if there’s enough need for one. This could be a cost effective option but very dependant on numbers & interest. Let us know in the RSVP if you may need a space and we will keep you updated. Alternatively there are existing coach trips via Kelowna.

Car or Camper

Vehicle rental is the most fun option with loads to see along the way. Renting a car is roughly $120 (£65) per day, Towable trailers and motor homes are also available. While campers cost more, they’re a good way to save on accommodation.

Plane

This is the most expensive option, but you can get good deals. If it works best for you there are flights from Vancouver to Penticton with return flights starting from $250 (£135).

What to Do

Activities in the Penticton Area

Float the Channel

One of the best things to do in the area is to float down the 7km river channel. We’ll be doing it the day after the wedding and Coyote Cruises offers inner tube rentals and shuttle transport back to the starting point.

Breweries, Wineries and Cideries

All across the Okanagan you can find unique breweries, wineries and cideries with amazing views.

Cycling & Mountain Biking

There are some amazing bike trails in the area like Three Blind Mice or Campbell Mountain, or for a more leisurely ride there’s the Kettle Valley Rail Trail with stunning views and wine tastings along the Naramata Bench.

Hiking & Climbing

Munson Mountain is a great Penticton hike with views across the lakes, while Skaha Bluffs Provincial Park has tougher hikes & climbs. Penticton is recognised as one of Canada's premier climbing destinations with over 1,200 established routes.

Food

Penticton has loads of great places to eat with food from all over the world. Brodo Kitchen will be the wedding caterer, but you can also check out Hooded Merganser, Salty’s Beach House, Elma, and more.

LocoLand Adventure Park

LocoLanding Adventure Park in Penticton is a small activity and adventure park for kids. The park has an 18-hole mini-golf course with fun obstacles like waterfalls and caves, electric go-karts, and a ropes course with multiple levels.
